Once your Will has been signed and witnessed, it is important to ensure that it is stored in a place that is both secure and easily accessible when the document is needed. If your Will cannot be located by your executors, it will be as if your Will does not exist.
We do not recommend that our clients keep their Will at home. If you have a fire, flood or burglary, you risk losing your Will. If your Will is damaged in any way, the courts could declare it invalid.
